
Compared with earlier versions, the features of Registry Cleaner have been greatly improved with more powerful scanning capability and repairing features (see Figure 2.2 below).

1. to start with, check the options which are all
selected by default, and click the icon on the right bottom Scan
Now .
2. wait when the cleaner automatically scans your selected
options, or click
to cancel the scanning on the
Scan in progress screen, where the numbers of probems
found will be shown on the left bottom with dark
red color.
3. a summary on the scanning results gives the options
to review and select which detected items is going to be cleaned or
ignored; make selection on the items (by default, all the
invalid items found will be selected) at the
Scan Results screen or exclude the items to the
Ignore
List , which Registry Cleaner always consult prior to any scanning
and do not scan any items listed within; right click your mouse on one
specific item to pop up the menu (see Figure 2.3 ), where you can do
selection or Exclude and add key to ignore
list, reminding the Registry Cleaner to
exclude this item now and leave alone the item at next scanning operation;

after everything is done with the selection, click
to
proceed.
4. when Registry Easy runs at the first time, it is required to have a full backup on the current registry keys, click OK to proceed if any backup confirmation is showing up; you can always recovery the registry to a previous state that has already been stored within Registry Backup utility (at the Backups toolkit).
5. on the Finished screen, click the Finish button back to the main interface .
