The System Optimizer utility can automatically optimize the model of your selection to the optimal speed by disabling some unnecessary applications or services under certain environment. Those disabled applications or services have been grouped by Registry Easy as pre-settings to define various working models as shown below:

1. Windows XP Default
2. Internet Cafe Model
3. Office Model
4. Campus Model
5. Notebook Model
6. Home Model

Alternatively, the System Optimizer also provides the features for you to make customization on how and what the applications or services are going to work.         

To enable one optimization model (for average users):

1. Click the Optimize System button at the main window, and then click the System Optimizer button.
2. Select an optimization model (excluding Customization ).
3. Click the Fast Optimize button.  

To customize System Optimizer (for advanced users) :

1. Click the Optimize System button at the main window, and then click the System Optimizer button.
2. Select Customization.
3. Click the Next button.
4. Following the intructions or descriptions at the bottom as you move above the options, select option(s), and click the Next button.
5. Following the intructions or descriptions at the bottom as you move above the options, select option(s), and click the Optimize button.

Whenever you want to come back to the previous state, you can always go back to the original state by restoring the automatically saved file (.ini) which is created before you run the optimization.

To view the automatically saved file :

1. Click the Optimize System button at the main window, and then click the System Optimizer button.
2. Select an optimization model or Customization .
3. Click the Reset button.

To reset System Optimizer :

1. Click the Optimize System button at the main window, and then click the System Optimizer button.
2. Select an optimization model or Customization .
3. Click the Reset button.
4. Select one saved file.
5. Click the Restore button.
6. Click the Return button.

To delete a saved file :

1. Click the Optimize System button at the main window, and then click the System Optimizer button.
2. Select an optimization model or Customization .
3. Click the Reset button.
4. Select one saved file.
5. Click the Delete Item button.
6. Click the Return button.
